Job description

Position Summary

While working as an installer in our signage department, you will mainly be tasked with removing and installing vehicle graphics and interior/exterior office signage. Other duties may be assisting the large format department and Production Floor Manager throughout the production and installation process. You will be responsible for prepping and quality checking substrates pre and post-production, visiting customer locations and installing various types of signage. The person in this position assists with performing the operational functions of the department, ensuring a solid production and installation process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipment
  • Remove and install vehicle graphics
  • Quality check and package completed jobs
  • Load vehicles and transport signage for installation
  • Contact customers regarding arrival times
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers
  • Interpret specifications, artwork, job orders, and company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with the production manager to meet deadlines and identify new projects
  • Enter information into the computer in order to keep track of jobs and assignments
  • Regular, reliable and punctual attendance

Nonessential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lend assistance to other staff members as necessary
RequirementsQualifications
  • A minimum of two years experience in signage and vehicle graphic installation.
  • An high school diploma is required.
  • The ability to pass a motor vehicle record check and pre-employment drug screening is required.
  • The successful candidate will be trained and based in our Owings Mills Headquarters, Strategic Factory. The position is non-exempt and the hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
