Whispering Winds Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team in a fully remote telehealth setting. • Conduct thorough intake assessments to better understand each client’s individual circumstances, mental health history, and unique goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs, focusing on solutions that foster resilience and growth.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions and group therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each client, addressing any changes in their progress.
• Participate in continuous education opportunities, staying informed about the latest advancements in therapy techniques and mental health treatment methods.
• Proactively contribute ideas and insights to enhance service delivery, improve program effectiveness, and promote best practices within the organization.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals with varying backgrounds and life experiences. Your role will focus on clients facing emotional challenges and complexities that may arise from anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult life transitions. You will create an inclusive environment that allows clients to feel heard, understood, and supported, ultimately guiding them towards improved mental health and overall well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state license/certification (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) required for practice in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of three years of direct clinical experience working with individuals facing various emotional and psychological challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients, fostering a comfortable and safe therapeutic environment.

• Experience using electronic medical records systems to document treatment plans and client progress is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in a telehealth environment or familiarity with virtual counseling platforms is a plus, contributing to a seamless transition into this remote role.

• Attractive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
