The 110-bed hospital has 12 Intensive Care Unit beds, six Neonatal Intensive Care beds, and a 20-bed Emergency Department. Sierra Providence East Medical Center is part of the Sierra Providence Health Network that has been providing advanced health care services to El Paso and the outlying communities of west Texas, southern New Mexico and our international neighbors in northern Mexico for more than 50 years. Emergency Department โ€ข 44,000 annual patient visits โ€ข 20-bed Emergency Department โ€ข 36 hours of physician coverage daily โ€ข Level 4 trauma center โ€ข 8% admission rate โ€ข Scribes and EMTโ€™s in ED โ€ข Criteria โ€“ BC/BE ABEM/AOBEM Hospital Services โ€ข Surgical Services feature six operating rooms, four endoscopy rooms and a Pre-Operative Testing Center. โ€ข Emergency Services offers cardiac and invasive monitoring and the staff uses protocols for effective care, such as rapid administration of therapies including thromboplasminogen activator (TPA) for patients with heart attack symptoms. โ€ข Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Medical/Surgical Unit โ€ข Post Partum/GYN, Respiratory Care , Telemetry Unit โ€ข ED sees 12% pediatric patients โ€ข Level III NICU โ€ข Physical Rehabilitation
