JOB TITLE: INSTALLER

With PFC, the Installer position is a crucial role on our team that must ensuring the installation of is done properly with all safety measures in place. You’ll be on a team of 2-5 with a Foreman. This is a manual, in-field position of fence installation, maintenance, and driving company vehicles. Fence installers will deliver, install, remove, and repair permanent and temporary fencing. Installers must ensure proper loading and unloading of building materials and equipment. Qualified CDL A Drivers will operate truck and trailers. Some positions may require Operation of Skid Steer Equipment (Training will be provided).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • Attention to detail and the importance of safety
  • Experience in fence installation and repairs of many types (chain link, wood, ornamental, PVC, temporary, gates, etc.)
  • Basic understanding or willingness to learn the aspects of construction plans/blueprints
  • Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL license, and drive company trucks/trailers
  • Desire to learn and be a part of a close-knit, dedicated team with PFC!
NATURE OF THE WORK:
  • Each work day is different, and you’ll get to work with a variety of clients and projects!
  • This position is full-time (40+ hours per week), Monday – Friday starting at 7:00am with the opportunity for overtime, at a pay rate of 1.5x. Occasionally, weekend work is required for special events. Overtime is required for this position.
  • PFC offers installation for clients of chain link, ornamental, wood, and PVC fencing as well as gates and temporary panels.
  • Your workday could include laying out fence lines according to plans and fence styles; operating a skid steer with hydraulic attachments; digging fence post holes and setting posts, etc.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

We offer competitive compensation and benefits including:

  • Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit
  • Ability for overtime pay at a pay rate of 1.5x
  • 3% employer-matched retirement plan.
  • Paid vacation time/PTO and a generous holiday schedule
  • 100% Employer Paid Health Insurance (Employee Only) with medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their families (eligible after 60 days of employment)
  • Primarily Monday-Friday work week.
REQUIREMENTS OF ALL EMPLOYEES:
  • Fluent in English (bi-lingual is a major plus!)
  • Ability to pass a standard drug screening and criminal background check (PFC’s clients sometimes include government facilities and schools).
  • Good driving record, and willingness to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (not a prerequisite)
  • MVR (CDL A Applicants Only)
  • Dedication to adherence to relevant safety regulations
  • Ability to lift objects over 85 pounds
