Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Roofing & Siding will be responsible for managing all aspects of roofing projects from planning and execution to completion. This role requires:

  • In-depth knowledge of roofing systems
  • Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee exterior construction (i.e., siding, roofing, etc) on multi-family and other commercial building projects from initiation through completion.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, to specifications, and within budget.
  • Conduct project meetings with clients & subcontractors, developing a strong rapport with each group.
  • Supervision and oversight of onsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and promptly identify, resolve issues, and enforce safety protocols.
  • Coordinate the efforts of subcontractors and labor teams, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project completion.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure all roofing work meets industry standards and client specifications.
  • Address any quality issues that arise during the roofing process and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, daily logs, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and present regular project update reports and status updates to stakeholders and upper management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations as well as company policies and procedures related to roofing work.
  • Promote a culture of safety among all team members and conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
