Job description

SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for multiple Field Engineers - Rail/Transit to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects. This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projects
  • Inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasks
  • Reviewing contractor schedules and payments
  • Conducting constructability review
  • Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders
Qualification & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar
  • 2+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
  • Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethic
  • OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, and NYCT Track Training
Expected salary range is $72,800 - $124,800 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual's qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
