About the Job

The Asset Associate supports the movement, accuracy, and quality of rental inventory across Bright locations. This role reviews daily product needs, coordinates transfers and shuttle activity, and looks for ways to reduce unnecessary movement while keeping equipment available for upcoming events.


Working closely with Asset Management, Warehouse, Field Operations, Sales, and vendor partners, the Asset Associate helps maintain accurate inventory records and ensures rental products are transferred, counted, and handled correctly.


What You’ll Do

  • Run and review daily asset reports to identify inventory needs across locations
  • Determine which products and quantities need to be transferred between locations
  • Create, update, and finalize transfer tickets within established timelines
  • Review transfer tickets for accuracy and add approved last-minute changes when needed
  • Evaluate transfer load sizes and combine shipments when possible to reduce unnecessary truck use
  • Send completed transfer tickets to the appropriate teams for preparation and close prior-day tickets
  • Process daily regional laundry shuttle adjustments and reconcile returned inventory
  • Communicate asset changes and availability updates with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations
  • Process damaged inventory for removal and coordinate cycle counts as needed
  • Partner with Warehouse and Field Operations teams to identify product quality concerns and improve asset handling
  • Maintain accurate information in Bright’s rental management system
  • Support Asset Management projects and process improvements that improve inventory accuracy and availability

What You Bring


Required

  • Experience supporting inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, or administrative coordination
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and open tasks
  • Ability to review reports, identify discrepancies, and make decisions based on available information
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected with multiple departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard office programs
  • Ability to learn and work within Bright’s rental management system
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and safely navigate warehouse and office facilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on seasonal volume and business needs

  • Experience in event rentals, equipment rentals, inventory control, or transportation coordination
