Job description

Summary of Position:

The primary responsibility of the Attendant is to provide client-facing support for valet parking, Electric Vehicles (EVs) management, and driving operations, which includes greeting incoming and outgoing customers, parking and retrieving customer vehicles, answering customer questions in a professional, welcoming manner, and driving other employees and guests to and from designated areas. Additional duties could include providing directions on available parking, assisting in providing traffic control, performing key audits, and completing and distributing reports.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining station operations
  • Update Valet and EV charging logs
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment including relief of car backlog
  • Acknowledge and greet all incoming customers in a friendly, welcoming manner that demonstrates First and Lasting Impressions
  • Perform outdoor concierge/customer service duties as requested
  • Anticipate and facilitate customer needs such as requesting their car, opening car doors, assistance with wheelchairs, luggage, holding umbrellas, providing directions, directing traffic etc.
  • Tactfully manages difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Safely perform valet parking and EV services including parking, retrieving and delivering customer vehicles and management of EV charging stations
  • Safely operate customer and company vehicles in accordance with all traffic regulations, applicable laws and company policies
  • Perform hourly and daily key audits including key transfers to customers and clients as directed
  • Manage cash, valet tickets, ticketless technology systems, keys and equipment in accordance with company policy
  • Assist in completing hourly and daily activity logs using Employee Portal or phone if available, etc.
  • Safely operate, ride, rebalance and secure bicycles for customers
  • Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences and promotes a harassment-free environment
  • Have working knowledge of Account Specific Details
  • Be flexible with work shifts/hours to service peak volume periods, vacated shifts and other emergency situations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. In addition, the individual must be punctual, have a good attendance record, and have reliable means of transportation to work.

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must have 3 years of driving experience
  • Must possess a valid drivers license with no accidents or 2-point driving infractions in the last 5 years
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Some customer service/public relations experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate in a positive manner with co-workers, customers and vendors at all times;
  • Work effectively on a team and independently to resolve customer issues
  • Assist in maintaining station operations
  • Maintain EV operations
  • Maintain Vehicle Driving Operations
  • Recommend procedures that increase efficiency and maximize throughput for charging
  • Provide hands-on EV training as needed
  • Accommodate a flexible work schedule, including different times and locations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to report data and execute other duties with minimal direction
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Must possess a cell phone and email account and a reliable means of transportation to work
