Job description


Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the Shuttle Driver is to transport student passengers to and from locations using a campus vehicle. Daily Shuttle locations include the College campus and other businesses and medical facilities in the Westminster area. Break Shuttle locations include BWI Airport and BWI Amtrak.
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all State, Local, and Federal Traffic laws while in McDaniel vehicles.
  • Adhere to guidelines and regulations as they pertain to the College Driving Policy.
  • Daily Shuttle responsibilities consist of transporting student passengers in an 11-passenger van to and from assigned off-campus locations within Westminster.
  • Break Shuttle responsibilities consist of transporting student passengers in an 11-passenger van to and from Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and BWI Amtrak Station.
Requirements:
  • A valid Class C driver's license for at least six years and point-free driving record for at least three years (CDL not required)
  • Availability to work Monday thru Saturdays. Occasionally Sundays are required.
  • Familiar with the BWI Airport, BWI Amtrak, and the local Westminster area.
  • Demonstrate ability to drive an 11-passenger van.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently via cell phone.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and Campus Safety staff.
