Summary

The Service Porter Shuttle Driver warmly transports customers to their workplace, residence, or essential errands while their vehicle undergoes servicing. In addition to customer shuttling, this role enhances operational efficiency within both the service drive and shop. This is achieved through providing assistance to advisors and the management team, as well as maintaining dealership organization and cleanliness. The role involves a welcoming demeanor when customers arrive, valeting vehicles from the service drive to designated parking warmly greets customers upon arrival, valeting customer vehicles from the service drive to a designated parking areas and organizing our inventory of company – owned rental vehicles.

Core Responsibilities

  • Greets customers with a “warm” greeting when they arrive in the service drive
  • Plans a route that will best serve the clients needs and estimates the time the trip will require
  • Uses knowledge of local area, GPS and or mapping applications to avoid high traffic areas and to ensure the shortest and safest route to destination
  • Inspects shuttle van and confirms client hasn’t left any items behind
  • Providing each vehicle with protective floor and seat covering
  • Communicating with Roush teammates and valeting the vehicle to a designated parking area
  • Complete tire pressure checks, battery tests, check / fill fluids (when needed), replace windshield wiper inserts, and replace light bulbs
  • Complete routine cleaning in the service drive and the service shop
  • Complete car washes on customer and company – owned vehicles
  • Participate in deep clean projects with our maintenance team

Requirements:

  • Ability to work Monday – Thursday 2pm-10pm and rotating Friday or Saturday 8a-6p
  • Ability to present a neat and professional appearance
  • Previous customer service experience of 2 years minimum required
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks including driving, standing for extended periods, frequently walking, working in inclement weather conditions
  • Must be an experienced driver having a valid driver’s license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving.
