Job description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to operate company vehicles and transport passengers safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This position is based at Castle Mountain Chalets in Banff National Park. The successful candidate must be able to commute to work. No allowance is available for housing or relocation costs.

Duties

  • Safely operate shuttle vehicles along scheduled routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
  • Conduct commercial vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking by providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle at all times
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates or issues
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class 4 Alberta with a clean driving record
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic Daily vehicle inspections and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in English for clear communication with passengers and team members
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with dispatch and passengers
  • Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation is preferred but not required
