Job Description

Summary:

The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for assisting with vehicle movement, giving shuttle rides and performing valet pickups and drop offs as well as maintaining the dealership's appearance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
  • Give shuttle rides and perform valet pick-ups and drop offs.
  • Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
  • Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage (walk around)
  • Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic.
  • Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; wait at vehicle for customer, thank customers for their business.
  • Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats and I.D. tags in all the vehicles taken in for service.
  • Assist with loaner vehicles and keeping the shop clean.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Physically able to drive and move vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership's professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with shuttle driving and/or valet pickups and drop offs
Additional Information

Compensation (Hourly):

  • $15.00 / hour

Schedule: 

  • FULL TIME
  • 5 days a week / 2 days off
  • Sundays off
  • Saturday availability required
