PT Shuttle Bus Driver

Monticello is seeking Shuttle Bus Drivers. Over 300,000 guests each year depend on our dedicated drivers to safely transport them to one of the world's most captivating historic homes. This is the opportunity to enjoy stunning year-round views of Charlottesville, the Blue Ridge and surrounding areas while meeting and assisting guests from all over the world to help create a one-of-a-kind experience.

Compensation:
$22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • Shuttle Bus Drivers deliver safe, reliable, efficient, and guest friendly transportation services
  • In the Spring and Summer, our busiest seasons, the individual will offer transportation to guests from the Visitor Center to the "Mountaintop", a 1.5-mile loop. In the Fall and Winter, some tasks may include keeping inventory of supplies and uniforms.
  • The work schedule fluctuates, and availability for after-hours events on weekends and holidays is expected with advanced notice.
  • Candidates should be available to work up to 12 days per month, including 5 weekend days, but more hours are available during our busy season.
  • Job duties include driving as well as cleaning shuttle buses.
Skills amp; Abilities:
  • A safe driving record is required and a proven history of delivering excellent guest service.
  • A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with passenger endorsement is required.
