Part-Time Shuttle Bus Driver

Part-Time | $25.00 per hour

Primarily Nights & Weekends

Botanic is seeking a dependable, professional, and safety-focused Part-Time Shuttle Bus Driver to provide transportation for guests attending weddings, special events, and other activities at our property in Opelika, Alabama.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CDL driver looking for flexible, part-time work primarily during evenings and weekends. Our drivers are often one of the first and last interactions guests have with our team, so we're looking for someone who combines safe driving practices with a friendly, professional approach to guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate Botanic's shuttle bus to transport guests between designated locations
  • Follow established shuttle routes, schedules, parking procedures, and event transportation plans
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests
  • Assist guests with safely entering and exiting the shuttle when needed
  • Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Immediately report any vehicle maintenance, safety, or mechanical concerns
  • Maintain a clean and presentable shuttle before, during, and after scheduled events
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT requirements, company safety policies, and operating procedures
  • Communicate effectively with Botanic's event and management teams regarding guest transportation needs
  • Remain professional, patient, and safety-focused when transporting guests during busy events
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate passenger endorsement required for the vehicle being operated
  • Clean and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully meet all applicable driver qualification and employment requirements
  • Reliable transportation to and from Botanic in Opelika
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and follow established routes and instructions
  • Strong awareness of passenger and vehicle safety
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
