Job description

Luck Stone Enoree, SC Plant is seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator to safely operate excavators, loaders, and other specialized machinery while consistently delivering a high level of performance. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of completing essential job duties independently with minimal supervision.

The hours are 6am-4pm Mon-Fri

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Safely and efficiently operate multiple pieces of heavy equipment- (Komatsu WA 600 loader and CAT 3368 excavator)
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Inspect, clean, and lubricate equipment and perform routine safety checks.
  • Ensure equipment is properly positioned before operation, shutdown, loading, or unloading.
  • Promptly report equipment faults or maintenance concerns to the Plant Manager or Foreman.
  • Assist with other construction-related duties as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 + years experience operating excavators and loaders.ย 
  • Ability to operate multiple types of equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Strong awareness of workplace and equipment safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, attentive, and committed to quality performance.
  • Willingness to assist with general construction duties when needed.
