SENIOR NALCOMIS/NTCSS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Compensation: $84,000-$90,000 annually, based on experience
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Arrangement: On-Site

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required

JLGOV is seeking an experienced Senior NALCOMIS/NTCSS Systems Administrator to support a U.S. Navy aviation IT environment in Fort Worth, TX. The position supports NALCOMIS, NTCSS, OOMA/OIMA, systems administration, database administration, virtual environments, backup/recovery, cybersecurity, and technical support. The work is performed onsite at JRB Fort Worth, with remote support to other CNAFR locations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
  • Favorably adjudicated Tier 5 (T5/T5R) investigation completed within the past five years prior to start of performance
  • 10+ years of general IT experience
  • 6+ years of specialized systems and/or network administration experience
  • 10+ years of aviation maintenance administration experience
  • Hands-on experience as both a NALCOMIS Database Administrator (DBA) and Systems Administrator (SA)
  • Experience with both O-level and I-level NALCOMIS/OOMA/OIMA configurations
  • Experience supporting NTCSS environments
  • Ability to satisfy CAC, DISS, and Navy system-access requirements

The Government confirmed that the Senior Automated Information Systems Analyst and NALCOMIS Systems Administrator are the same position and that the PWS 6.0 qualification standard applies to personnel performing the work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and maintain NALCOMIS, NTCSS, OOMA/OIMA, databases, servers, and virtual environments
  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, startup/shutdown, patching, and cybersecurity maintenance
  • Support Navy aviation users, System Administrators, and DBAs
  • Maintain SOPs, configuration records, and technical documentation
  • Support system availability, security, recovery, and continuity

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Veeam backup and replication
  • ACAS, IAVA, DAP, and DISA STIG requirements
  • Recent Navy aviation maintenance IT experience
  • Experience supporting classified DoD environments
  • Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)

SECURITY AND CITIZENSHIP

An active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. The Tier 5/T5R investigation must be favorably adjudicated before the start of performance and within the required five-year period. Candidates must be able to maintain applicable CAC, DISS, clearance, and Navy system-access requirements.
