Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dealer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dealing table games efficiently and accurately while maintaining a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The Dealer must ensure fair play, enforce house rules, and provide excellent Guest Service to all players.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Deal Table Games with Accuracy and Efficiency.
4. Manage the flow of live poker games.
5. Visually and manually handle cards, chips, and game equipment in accordance with gaming
regulations.
6. Perform Basic Mathematical and Money Handling Tasks.
7. Accurately count, collect, and distribute chips.
8. Monitor wagers and payouts while maintaining concentration in a fast-paced environment.
9. Provide Consistent and Professional Guest Service
10. Communicate clearly and respectfully with players and co-workers.
11. Listen, speak, and respond appropriately in a noisy, crowded environment.
12. Monitor and Maintain Game Integrity
13. Observe player behavior and gameplay for accuracy and fairness.
14. Report irregularities, disputes, or suspicious activity to supervisors as needed.
15. Use Required Tools and Equipment
16. Operate shuffle machines, chip racks, and table accessories.
17. Adhere to Gaming Regulations and Internal Policies
18. Follow all house rules, gaming laws, and responsible gaming practices.
19. Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area
20. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Non-Essential Functions:

3. Engaging in customer service beyond gaming duties (e.g., escorting players, answering general casino
inquiries).
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and
verbal form.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Minimum age 21.
4. One (1) or more years of dealing experience in a casino or card room environment. Formal dealing
school training may be accepted in lieu of experience.
5. Ability to perform basic mental math quickly and accurately.
6. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
7. Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of blackjack plus 1 additional major game preferred.
2. Multilingual communication skills.
3. Prior customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
