Job description

Woodfield Outdoors

Showroom Manager

Candidates and Recruiters: All applications must be submitted through Contractor Staffing Source. Please refrain from contacting Woodfield Outdoors directly regarding this position.

Help Create an Exceptional Woodfield Experience From the First Conversation

Woodfield Outdoors is looking for a polished, personable, and highly organized Showroom manager to help prospective clients take the first step toward creating an exceptional outdoor living space.

This is a client-facing position at the center of our showroom and sales process. You will often be one of the first people a prospective client speaks with, helping them understand who we are, what we build, how our process works, and what comes next.

The right person is not necessarily a traditional salesperson. We are looking for someone who is naturally comfortable with people, asks good questions, stays organized, follows through consistently, and can confidently communicate with homeowners considering high-quality, customized outdoor projects.

You will help qualify incoming opportunities, coordinate appointments, maintain accurate CRM information, support our sales team, and make sure clients receive professional communication throughout the early stages of their experience with Woodfield Outdoors.

About Woodfield Outdoors

For more than 30 years, Woodfield Outdoors has created distinctive outdoor environments for homeowners who value craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and exceptional service.

Our projects include:

  • Custom pools
  • Pavilions and outdoor structures
  • Outdoor kitchens
  • Entertainment areas
  • Custom landscaping
  • Complete outdoor living environments

Our team is built around teamwork, transparency, communication, integrity, and trust. We believe the client experience begins long before construction starts, and this position plays an important role in making sure every prospective client feels informed, welcomed, and well cared for.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for prospective Woodfield Outdoors clients.
  • Answer incoming sales and showroom inquiries by phone, email, and other approved communication channels.
  • Speak with prospective clients about their project ideas, priorities, timeline, and expectations.
  • Introduce clients to Woodfield Outdoors' services and explain our consultation, design, and sales process.
  • Ask thoughtful questions to help determine whether an opportunity is a strong fit for Woodfield.
  • Qualify incoming leads according to established company criteria.
  • Schedule qualified appointments with the appropriate member of the sales team.
  • Help prospective clients understand what happens next and what they can expect throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate and complete information in Pipedrive CRM.
  • Enter lead details, notes, activities, status changes, appointments, and follow-up tasks.
  • Consistently follow up with prospective clients so promising opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
  • Confirm appointments and help maintain strong appointment show rates.
  • Coordinate organized handoffs between prospective clients and the appropriate salesperson.
  • Make sure the sales team has important background information before client appointments.
  • Assist salespeople with follow-up, scheduling, client communication, and other front-end administrative needs.
  • Help keep leads moving through the sales process until they either advance to the next stage or are appropriately closed out.
  • Assist clients in the showroom and help maintain a professional, welcoming client environment.
  • Provide post-sale client support when needed, including assistance during the selections process.
  • Help clients navigate aesthetic and product selections while coordinating with the appropriate Woodfield team members.
  • Monitor lead activity, appointments, follow-up status, and CRM accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client communication, lead management, sales support, and the overall Woodfield experience.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in customer service, client relations, sales support, inside sales, appointment setting, showroom coordination, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A warm, polished, professional, and personable communication style.
  • Confidence speaking with homeowners considering significant residential projects.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to ask effective questions.
  • Ability to explain services and processes clearly without using a high-pressure sales approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent follow-through and personal accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple client conversations, appointments, follow-ups, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Comfort working within a CRM and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to learn Woodfield Outdoors' services, terminology, and sales process.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with sales, design, and production team members.
