What is a showing agent?

Showing Agents are licensed real estate professionals who specialize in showing properties to prospective buyers on behalf of the lead real estate agent or team. They handle property tours, answer client questions during showings, and provide feedback to the lead agent. Showing Agents help streamline the home-buying process by ensuring clients can view homes at convenient times, even when the main agent is unavailable.

What does a showing agent do?

As a real estate showing agent, your duties involve providing tours of a listed property to prospective buyers. As part of your responsibilities, you set appointments with each interested buyer, giving each a thorough overview of the property’s positive features, likelihood for value increase, and potential need for repairs or refurbishment. These positions are sometimes known as showing assistant jobs because you work under the direction of a senior agent who represents the home buyer or seller. If you work on behalf of buyers, you perform research to find homes that fit the client’s criteria and liaise with agents representing the seller.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a showing agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Showing Agent, you need a real estate license, strong knowledge of property markets, and excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, scheduling tools, and multiple listing services (MLS) is typically required. Outstanding communication, punctuality, and a client-focused attitude are essential soft skills in this role. These abilities ensure effective property showings, client satisfaction, and successful coordination with buyers, sellers, and other real estate professionals.

How does a showing agent typically collaborate with listing agents and clients throughout the home touring process?

Showing Agents work closely with listing agents by coordinating showing schedules, obtaining property access instructions, and communicating client feedback after tours. They act as the primary point of contact for clients during property visits, answering questions and providing insights on each home's features. Effective Showing Agents maintain open communication with both clients and listing agents to ensure a smooth, informative, and efficient home touring experience. This collaboration is key to helping clients make informed decisions and advancing the sales process.

Job description

We Put the World on Vacation

Travel + Leisure Co. is the world's leading vacation ownership and travel membership company, with a dynamic and growing portfolio of resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands. Our dedicated associates help the company achieve its mission to put the world on vacation. Innovation and growth keep our work interesting and fun. Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.

Chase Phone Room Agent

As a Chase Phone Room Agent, you're the recovery engine for our sales pipeline. Your job is to contact clients by phone: either signing them up for an upcoming presentation or reconnecting with guests who previously missed their appointment and getting them rescheduled. You'll work onsite supporting multiple resort brands across the region, partnering closely with marketing, sales, and operations to keep tour flow moving and qualified guests in the seats.

This is a performance-driven role with uncapped earning potential.

What You'll Do:

  • Meet monthly tour flow targets set by management
  • Work an outbound call list daily to book new presentation appointments and recover previously missed tours
  • Qualify clients to ensure they meet the right criteria before scheduling
  • Manage confirmations and reschedules for both internal appointments and third-party vendor bookings with accuracy and follow-through
  • Maintain accurate data entry across Salesforce and sales center systems
  • Prepare and deliver chase materials to resort rooms as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and resort operations teams across the region
  • Assist at the lobby marketing desk when needed
  • Compile and distribute daily performance numbers to regional leadership

What Success Looks Like:

Your list is worked, your numbers are clean, and qualified guests are showing up. The best Chase Agents are persistent without being pushy; they know how to re-engage a cold contact and turn a missed appointment into a confirmed one.

Duties may evolve based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Salesforce CRM experience required; advanced familiarity a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 6 months call center, reservations, or equivalent customer service experience required.
  • Ability to actively listen to client needs and use that insight to build value and motivate attendance at a sales presentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends to suit business needs.

How You'll Be Rewarded:

We offer a diverse range of comprehensive health and welfare benefits to associates who work 30 or more hours per week to meet your needs and support you throughout your career with us. Certain benefits may be available to associates working fewer hours where required by applicable law. Travel + Leisure Co. benefits include: Note: Temporary and/or seasonal associates are ineligible for Paid Time Off. Medical Dental Vision Flexible spending accounts Life and accident coverage Disability Wish day paid time to volunteer at an approved organization of your choice 401k with employer match (subject to eligibility requirements, including tenure - speak to your recruiter for additional information) Legal and identity theft plan Voluntary income protection benefits Wellness program (subject to provider availability) Employee Assistance Program Depending on position, paid time off, parental leave and holidays (speak to your recruiter for additional information)

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $18.90 - $18.90 plus commissions and bonuses.

Where Memories Start with You

Hospitality is at the heart of all we do at Travel + Leisure Co. Here, you'll find an inclusive environment where we deliver excellence and take time to have fun, celebrate together, and support one another. We're always looking ahead to what's next and how we can strengthen our business, its neighboring communities, and the customer experience.
