What is a shower installer?

Shower installers are professionals who specialize in fitting and installing shower units in bathrooms. Their work includes removing old fixtures, preparing plumbing, setting up the new shower enclosure, and ensuring everything is sealed and functions properly. They may also work with tiles, waterproofing, and sometimes electrical components for features like lighting or digital controls. Hiring a skilled shower installer can help ensure a safe, leak-free, and aesthetically pleasing result.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a shower installer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Shower Installer, you need knowledge of plumbing, construction, and safety standards, typically supported by vocational training or relevant certifications. Familiarity with hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and materials like tile, fiberglass, and glass is essential. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong customer service skills help set top installers apart. These skills ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the satisfaction of clients, which is critical for building a solid reputation in the field.

What are some common challenges faced by professional shower installers, and how can they be addressed?

Professional shower installers often encounter challenges such as working with uneven surfaces, managing plumbing complexities, and ensuring watertight seals to prevent leaks. Addressing these challenges requires careful measurement, the use of high-quality waterproofing materials, and close coordination with plumbers and other trades. Staying updated with the latest installation techniques and building codes also helps ensure quality and compliance, leading to successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Home Improvement Sales Consultant - Bath and Shower Remodel

Clearwater Shower Bath

Fort Pierce, FL โ€ข On-site

$150K - $300K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 8 days ago

Job description

Clearwater Shower Bath is hiring a professional sales consultant to meet with homeowners throughout the Treasure Coast and help them design customized shower and bath remodeling projects.

We specialize in premium shower, bathtub, walk-in tub, and wet-area bathroom remodeling. During each appointment, you will evaluate the homeowner's current space, understand what they want to improve, recommend the right solution, and guide them through the purchasing decision.

This is a full-time W-2, 100% commission position with uncapped earning potential.

The Position

Our internal marketing and call center teams schedule approximately two to three appointments per day with homeowners who have already requested information about a bathroom remodeling project.

There is no cold calling, canvassing, or self-generated prospecting. Your focus is running a complete in-home consultation, designing the project, presenting the investment and financing options, and closing the sale.

Typical projects range from $10,000 to $30,000 or more.

Compensation and Support

Successful consultants have realistic earning potential of $150,000 to $300,000 annually. Commissions are uncapped and paid biweekly, with front-end and back-end payouts.

Clearwater Shower Bath provides company-generated appointments, product samples, professional presentation materials, 3D bathroom design software, financing options, structured training, and support from management, production, and installation teams.

Health and dental insurance are also available.

Who We Are Looking For

This position is best suited for a polished, consultative salesperson who can build trust quickly, ask strong questions, present premium products confidently, handle objections, and ask for the business.

Experience in bathroom remodeling is helpful but not required. We are interested in proven performers from home improvement, automotive, furniture, flooring, kitchens, windows, roofing, HVAC, solar, or other high-ticket sales environments.

We provide the product and process training. You must bring professionalism, closing ability, attention to detail, and the willingness to follow a structured sales process.

Schedule and Requirements

Appointments are scheduled around homeowner availability, so consultants must be available during the day, in the evening, and on Saturdays.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, professional communication skills, and a personal iPad capable of running our design software. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

This is a performance-based opportunity for someone who wants qualified appointments, strong operational support, and direct control over their income.

Apply today to be considered for an upcoming Clearwater Shower Bath training class.

Employment with Clearwater Shower Bath is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening. We are committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and drug-free workplace.
