Job Summary

Duke Rentals is seeking a Heavy Equipment Service Technician at our Sun Prairie, WI location. This role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and ensuring equipment meets safety and manufacturer standards.

PAY: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour STARTING - Based on Experience

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Friday
  • Overtime or On-Call as needed

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and machinery
  • Service hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain service records and documentation
  • Coordinate repairs with shop supervisor and parts department
  • Operate company service vehicle safely

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with clean MVR
  • 3 years of experience in equipment repair or mechanical service
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and on a team

Physical Requirements

  • Working in various indoor and outdoor environments
  • Exposure to shop chemicals, grease, oils, and equipment noise
  • Lifting up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Standing, kneeling, squatting, or bending for extended periods
