Job description

With ENVITAE, you get all the great benefits of an apartment stay, without the downside risk of being hosted by an individual. We are the luxury tier of vacation rentals in the US: currently operating in 3 cities with a further 5 planned for this year.

As a guest experience & sales lead, you will be the business card of our company as the first point of contact for our new and repeat guests. You will provide exemplary customer service while identifying guests needs and addressing these with the right upsells.


Language Requirement:

English Fluency + fluency in one other language preferred (Mandarin, Arabic, German, Spanish, Italian, French preferred)


What You'll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for all our guests via phone, email and chat
  • Lead the guest communications process on our Platform Management System (PMS) Guesty
  • Learn the ins and outs of our travel business so you can handle any questions guests have
  • Actively upsell customers our membership plans and additional services based on their needs
  • Own the reservations process from start to finish
  • Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve guest issues in a timely and positive manner
  • Coordinate with our city teams to resolve issues on the ground and provide ongoing updates to guests

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a customer service setting in the short term rental industry
  • Previous experience working with a Platform Management System such as Guesty (major plus)
  • Ability to adapt in a rapid growth environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Personable and love speaking with others via phone, email, and chat
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in one or more of French, German, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin or Arabic is strongly preferred
  • Sense of humor
