Job description

Registered Nurse

Medcor is looking for a registered nurse for a short-term commitment at our occupational health clinic located in New York, NY. We are looking for a nurse who can administer vaccinations Monday through Thursday from 10/5/26 – 12/4/26. The pay rate is $52.00/hr. This is not a full-time job. It is short-term coverage.

A typical day in the life of a Medcor nurse:

  • Collaborate with a team that provides excellent customer service to Medcor's client and employees
  • Administer vaccinations according to protocol
  • Provide education and answer questions pertaining to vaccines
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Document utilizing an electronic medical record
  • Assist with daily clinic operations including clerical, IT, medical supply management, and medical equipment maintenance

You must:

  • Have valid unrestricted New York RN license and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Have experience administering vaccinations in a fast-paced setting
  • Have a positive and outgoing personality
  • Be good at prioritizing and multitasking
  • Be willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service
  • Love people and giving them the best care humanly possible

You should:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years field experience
  • Be able to follow processes and procedures with excellence
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and documenting using an EMR
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
