Commercial Solar Project Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Michigan
Field / Office Split: 40% Field / 60% Office
Michigan Solar Solutions is seeking a Commercial Solar Project Manager to support and lead our commercial solar installations from planning through project closeout. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Engineering, Field Services, and Warehouse teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate commercial solar projects with the PM Team and external partners
  • Host job kickoff meetings and conduct pre- and post-contract site visits
  • Interface directly with commercial clients
  • Manage project materials, tools, permits, engineering, and schedules
  • Develop Gantt charts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and job recap reports
  • Support and enforce safety programs and site-specific safety requirements
  • Screen, onboard, and manage subcontractors with job-specific SOWs
  • Resolve installation issues and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Oversee commercial job invoicing in the most cost-effective manner

Qualifications

  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership
  • Project management experience a plus
