Main purpose of the App Project Manager role:

Own the product roadmap and day-to-day execution for REVOLVE and FWRD's app properties — iPhone, universal iPad, and Android App. Responsible for balancing long-term roadmap strategy with sprint-level execution to drive conversion, revenue per user, and a best-in-class mobile shopping experience.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap across REVOLVE and FWRD app properties, balancing business impact, technical feasibility, and customer experience
  • Partner closely with app engineers and backend/server-side teams to scope, sequence, and ship features across sprints
  • Run day-to-day sprint planning and execution, with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through on open items
  • Apply app conversion best practices (onboarding, checkout, push/notifications, app store optimization) to drive measurable lifts in conversion and revenue per user
  • Represent the voice of REVOLVE's highest-value customer — the app shopper — in all product decisions

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to zoom out (roadmap, prioritization, tradeoffs) and zoom in (sprint detail, QA, follow-up) with equal rigor
  • Track record of shipping app features that moved conversion or revenue metrics
  • Comfort partnering cross-functionally with both app and backend engineering teams
  • Strong product sense for fashion/retail customers and mobile shopping behavior

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Demonstrated experience with app conversion optimization and mobile UX best practices
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams (app-side and backend) in an agile/sprint environment
  • Experience with a formal testing program (multiple concurrent tests, prioritization frameworks)
  • Proficiency with JIRA (ticket/sprint management), Slack (team communication), and AI tools like Claude for daily workflow (research, drafting, analysis)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce, with personal affinity for the space
  • Experience managing apps with significant scale/revenue responsibility

A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision. At REVOLVE we all roll up our sleeves to pitch-in and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Each day is a little different, it’s what keeps us on our toes and excited to come to work every day.
