Growth Marketing Manager

Unicity

Provo, UT • On-site

Full-time

Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO

Job description

About Us

Unicity is a health and wellness company on a mission to reverse insulin resistance through sustainable habits and products that support metabolic health starting with our yerba mate formulated to support fasting, and a fiber drink that slows carb absorption at mealtime. Our customers come to us almost entirely through affiliates and partners who already have a relationship of trust with them. That makes the on-site and post-purchase experience the single most important lever we have: every visitor already arrived with intent, and our job is to not waste it.

About the Role

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day performance of our website from the moment someone lands on a product page (usually from a referral link, not an ad) through checkout and into their first weeks as a customer. You'll bring the analytical rigor: reading the funnel, running structured tests, and turning data into a prioritized roadmap.

You'll partner daily with our Designer, who owns visual execution and brand storytelling to move the site forward towards greater effectiveness each week.

What You'll Do
  • Own the conversion funnel. Track and improve conversion at every stage landing page, product page, cart, checkout, and post-purchase and know exactly where visitors referred by affiliates and influencers are dropping off and why.

  • Run a real testing program. Build and manage A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages, product pages, and checkout flow. Prioritize the roadmap based on funnel data and qualitative signal not paid campaign performance, since there isn't any.

  • Own the promo and launch calendar. Build and ship the site pages and experiences for product launches and promotions, working with the Marketing Manager on timelines and the Designer on execution.

  • Instrument and report. Own tracking, keep a weekly view of conversion rate, AOV, and app activation, and turn that into a hypothesis backlog the whole team can see.

  • Bring in the qualitative side. Use reviews, support tickets, on-site surveys, and session recordings to explain the "why" behind the numbers this matters more for us than most DTC brands, since we don't have paid-channel data to lean on for audience insight.

What We're Looking For
  • 35 years of experience in ecommerce, CRO, or growth marketing, ideally at a DTC or subscription brand

  • Working proficiency in GA4 or a comparable web analytics platform

  • Experience with at least one A/B testing or personalization tool (Optimizely, VWO, Convert, or similar)

  • Comfortable enough with HTML/CSS to troubleshoot a test implementation without waiting on a developer

  • Data fluency strong enough to build your own reporting spreadsheets at minimum, SQL is a plus

  • Experience writing clear creative briefs and working closely with designers you'll be pairing with one, not replacing one

  • A genuine interest in metabolic health, fasting, or the wellness space is a plus, not a requirement

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform

  • Experience optimizing for retention/reactivation, not just first-purchase conversion

  • Familiarity with affiliate or influencer-driven ecommerce models (attribution looks different than paid if you've worked in that world, say so)

In addition to competitive pay we can offer:

  • Heath, Dental, Vision, Life and other benefits that begin within a month
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Generous vacation allowance in addition to company paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Substantial company product allowance
  • Reimbursement for internet, cell phone and gym/wellness activities
