Job Description
As a Customer Service Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions, and assisting customers in finding the perfect gift from our highly curated collection.
Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the boutique.
  • Assist customers in selecting and trying on merchandise, offering advice and education of our vendors as needed.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system (Shopify).
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment in a secure manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and boutique policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the management team.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Cultivate our artistic community by getting to know our local vendors and their products.
  • Participate in basic visual merchandising activities and store displays to keep things clean and consistent.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing merchandise shipments under the direction of management.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and foster a positive working environment.
  • Committed to working 3 weekend shifts a month including two Saturdays and one Sunday.
Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and friendly attitude with a passion for local art.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 pounds.

Salary
$11 - $13 per hour
