Position Mission:
Increase sales on SwigLife.com and other ecommerce platforms by implementing merchandising and functionality strategies that improve conversion and average order value.
Swig Life is hiring an Ecommerce Merchandising Coordinator to maintain and improve our ecommerce websites on Shopify, NetSuite and more. This position requires an experienced ecommerce specialist who is a detail-oriented multi-tasker who will work closely with multiple internal teams to deliver a frictionless and on-brand user experience. You must thrive in a creative, fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will be able to execute objectives with minimal supervision, while thinking strategically, creatively, and collaboratively to increase brand awareness and tell a cohesive brand story to drive ecommerce sales.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain updates and content on all ecommerce websites
  • Ensure accuracy across ecommerce platforms for pricing, images, product descriptions and online cataloging
  • Accurately and efficiently create and format product catalogs in Excel for upload
  • Define product features and requirements and lead the implementation of new products and/or digital product updates
  • Ensure all necessary user experience, performance, and production testing is conducted and documented across devices
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal teams to analyze business information needs and functional requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and how they may optimize current practices
  • Use analytics and customer research to measure user experience, conversion, retention and to provide insights to future development
 
Required Experience
  • Three-five years of experience in ecommerce related platforms
  • Experience with Shopify required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite, Amazon, and Brandwise a plus
  • Some experience with HTML, CSS and Liquid a plus
  • Analytical and technical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret online customer behavior and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Extremely technical and is able to jump in and figure out solutions to tech-related problems with no oversight
  • Knowledge of current ecommerce buying trends and related technology
  • Organizational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Positive and pleasant approach to challenges, especially in difficult situations
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize workload
  • Having experience with a well-established, premium consumer brand a plus
  • A high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures, and processes in a logical sequence and at a level appropriate to the audience, resulting in effective working relationships
  • Proven history of delivering consistent results with a high attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, design, marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
