Job description

Position Overview:

In this role, you will lead on-site IT and digital enablement for Polaris' Apparel Center of Excellence facility, Teton Outfitters, in Rigby, Idaho, supporting Polaris' Parts, Garments & Accessories (PG&A) business unit. You will manage day-to-day IT operations while also partnering with business leaders to plan and execute a practical digital strategy and product roadmap that supports business goals. You will lead a team, coordinate shared resources, and oversee external contractors to ensure reliable service delivery for a 24/7 global organization. You will report to the Sr. Director of Digital Product with a dotted-line relationship to the VPGM of Apparel at Polaris corporate. This is a compelling opportunity to own both site-level IT delivery and meaningful digital outcomes, with direct visibility to local and enterprise stakeholders at the global leader in Powersports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure visible, reliable IT service delivery through service level agreements, metrics, and performance dashboards, and support infrastructure planning, implementation, and maintenance for business applications and operations.
  • Lead and develop a team of 5, along with shared resources and external contractors, to meet business needs and support the broader global enterprise.
  • Partner with business leaders to shape and execute a digital strategy, vision, and product roadmap aligned to business goals and KPIs.
  • Plan, staff, and resource digital and IT initiatives effectively, including selecting, managing, and holding vendors accountable for delivery.
  • Establish and manage product and project budgets, expected outcomes, and delivery plans to support prioritized work.
  • Drive product delivery practices, including defining and evolving team methodology and tools to improve execution and consistency.
  • Gather, synthesize, and translate user and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and prioritized backlog items, including well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate and contribute to agile delivery activities, including iteration planning, cross-team planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives (as needed), and ongoing backlog grooming and maintenance.
  • Coordinate stakeholder feedback and expectations, maintain an up-to-date roadmap, and manage release planning and schedules across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead IT project management efforts and incorporate change management approaches to drive alignment, engagement, and adoption.
  • Monitor product status and feedback after release and use insights to inform improvements while maintaining focus on quality and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting SAP and/or NetSuite ERP.
  • Experience working within a global IT organization and managing relationships within a matrixed structure.
  • Demonstrated understanding of product lifecycle management from concept through release, including enhancements and upgrades.
  • Broad information services domain knowledge, including application development, end-user devices, servers, databases, networks and telecommunications, collaboration tools, and security.
  • Experience implementing and supporting packaged and/or custom software solutions (e.g., CAD, PLM, CRM, ERP, WMS, SCM); experience with NetSuite ERP, SAP, Centric PLM, HighJump WMS, Shopify, and SCA is preferred.
  • Local to, or able to relocate to, the Rigby, ID area and work in a hybrid environment with in-office presence required Monday through Wednesday.
  • Travel up to 15%.
