Job description

People Architects is partnering with an established organization to hire a Graphic Designer with strong print and production design experience. This role will have a particular focus on creating polished catalogs, brochures, lookbooks, sample books, sell sheets, and other multi-page sales and marketing materials, along with supporting digital design needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a variety of print and multi-page marketing materials, including catalogs, brochures, sample books, lookbooks, sell sheets, flyers, newsletters, and other sales collateral.
  • Create, format, revise, and update multi-page layouts using Adobe InDesign, maintaining strong visual consistency across typography, imagery, spacing, and page design.
  • Prepare high-resolution, print-ready files for commercial printing, including preflight, bleeds, crop marks, CMYK/color management, image resolution, linked assets, file packaging, and other printer specifications.
  • Review proofs and make production adjustments to help ensure final printed materials meet design, brand, and quality standards.
  • Work within established templates, brand standards, and design systems while maintaining consistency across materials.
  • Use Adobe Photoshop to prepare, resize, adjust, and optimize imagery for print and digital applications.
  • Create website graphics and assist with website updates using platforms such as Shopify and Weebly.
  • Create social media graphics using provided content and visuals.
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations and other sales and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Content Specialist to turn written content and marketing ideas into effective visual communications.
  • Manage multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred, with experience in print, production design, and multi-page layout.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience designing catalogs, brochures, lookbooks, product books, sample books, or similar multi-page printed materials.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with strong Adobe Photoshop skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial print production, including preflight, bleeds, crop marks, CMYK/color management, image resolution, linked assets, typography, file packaging, and printer specifications.
  • Experience taking print projects from layout through final production-ready files and proofing.
  • Strong visual judgment and an understanding of how image selection, placement, sizing, resolution, typography, and page layout affect the finished product.
  • Strong proofreading and spelling skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Shopify and/or Weebly experience is a plus.
