Huron Automotive is looking for an experienced, hands-on Shop Manager to lead our Green Bay service center and help drive our team, operations, customer experience, and financial performance.

YOUR ROLE

As Shop Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy automotive service center while leading the team toward higher performance and continued growth.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading Operations — Oversee customer service, scheduling, workflow, inventory, and daily shop operations.
  • Leading People — Coach, train, motivate, and develop employees while maintaining high standards.
  • Driving Performance — Monitor sales, labor costs, profitability, and key performance metrics.
  • Taking Care of Customers — Build strong customer relationships and handle escalated concerns professionally.
  • Managing Parts & Vendors — Oversee parts ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory.
  • Maintaining Standards — Keep the shop clean, organized, safe, and efficient.
  • Improving the Business — Identify ways to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Working With Leadership — Partner with ownership on strategic goals and operational needs.

Great shop leaders lead by example, so you'll also be willing to jump in wherever needed — whether that's helping with sales, answering phones, driving the shuttle, or supporting the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the shop and inspire others to perform at their best.

You should have:

  • 5+ years of general management experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience coaching and motivating a team
  • Solid understanding of automotive repair operations and customer service
  • Ability to manage budgets and meet financial goals
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Automotive shop management software experience
  • ASE certification or technical background
  • Experience managing a multi-bay repair facility
