Job Summary:
The Director of Millwork Operations manages all daily operations, from initial fabrication to final on-site installation. In this role, you will organize field technicians, create master schedules, and closely track labor hours and project costs. You must ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Team Coordination
  • Organize field technicians and shop staff to maximize daily productivity and coverage.
  • Develop and manage schedules tracking workflows from initial shop fabrication through to final installation.
  • Coordinate logistics between the fabrication shop, delivery teams, and job sites.

Budget & Cost Tracking
  • Track labor hours meticulously to evaluate productivity and prevent budget overruns.
  • Monitor project costs against original estimates to ensure jobs remain highly profitable.
  • Review financial data throughout the project lifecycle to catch and correct budget variances early.

Quality & Execution
  • Enforce strict quality control standards across both the fabrication and installation phases.
  • Guarantee on-time completion of all contracted millwork packages.
  • Solve technical issues on-site or in the shop to maintain momentum without compromising craftsmanship.
