Overview

We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman with a strong background in power generation and industrial equipment. This is a working foreman position requiring hands-on diagnostics, repairs, troubleshooting, mentoring technicians, and coordinating shop operations.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel and natural gas generators
  • Perform inspections, rebuilds, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Train and mentor technicians
  • Coordinate daily shop workflow
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained
  • Complete work orders and documentation
  • Perform load bank testing
  • Troubleshoot generator controls and electrical systems
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of power generation or industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, MTU, Detroit Diesel, MQ or similar equipment
  • Generator controls experience
  • Diesel and natural gas engine experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
  • Previous Foreman or Lead Technician experience preferred
