Job description

OVERVIEW

The Sample Coordinator role is at the heart center, ensuring all meetings, photoshoots and assets best represent ALO's excellence. In this role you will be the Sample Style Expert.  Your keen attention to detail will allow you to guide others when samples are being used cross-functionally.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • SAMPLES
    • Organize and manage all samples across multiple seasons, up to 8 seasons at one time (men's, women's, accessories)
    • Maintain samples in merchandise room
    • Facilitate samples being borrowed between departments and outside sales representatives/ check- out, check-in system.
    • Coordinate dates to ensure samples are available for key meetings and shoots in advance of meeting date
    • Communicate to cross-functional teams the differences between SMS and production via change log
    • Coordinate with technical design team to borrow proto or fit samples accordingly.
  • STYLE OUT - IN-LINE AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
    • Provide samples in delivery order for styleout
    • Provide ETA and status of late SMS
    • Make callouts of spec / color updates from SMS to production.
    • Prevent using styles that photo team will not be able to retouch
    • Assist in creating outfits for lookbook - men's, women's and accessories
    • Take notes as necessary and issue recaps
    • Organize samples daily
    • Ensure style number, descriptions, color, and fit are accurate in the book
  • LOOK BOOK SHOOT
    • Assist in organizing/packing samples in shot list order for photoshoot as necessary
    • Assist on site at photoshoot/Travel Required to make callouts on outfits and SMS
    • Reorganize samples daily depending on shotlist for the day
    • Ensure models are dressed properly in a timely manner and are ready for shot
    • Create shotlist book (CAD work required)
    • Study the shot list and compare it to the book to ensure everything lines up
  • BUSINESS ALIGNMENT/ MERCH/BUY AND SALES MEETINGS
    • Manage Sample handover from Product development to Merchandising
    • Order additional samples needed for efficient meetings and if/when logos change location
    • Create large CADS of missing samples
    • Assist during presentation by hanging, disassembling samples and note taking
  • CAD work Responsibilities:
    • Create CAD pages for multiple teams/teammates at a fast pace, and often under tight timelines
    • CAD pages consist of, but not limited to: Category pages per season, Photo shoot look books
    • Create Alo Exclusive CADs
    • Manage Adds and Drops on existing CADS as they occur
    • Manage Seasonal binders
    • Create visual seasonal tools to help guide cross-functional teams

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00-$34.00.  Please note that hourly rates will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base hourly rate may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
