1st Shift - Production Associate

Location: Elkhart, IN
 Shift: 1st Shift – 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
 Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Are you looking for a hands-on production opportunity where you can learn multiple areas of the manufacturing process? We're seeking a Production Associate to join our team in Elkhart, IN. This company produces protective sleeves filled with mulch that help combat corrosion and filter water-based contaminants on stone, pipe, and construction projects.

In this role, you'll be trained across various areas of the production line and help manufacture, package, palletize, and stage finished products for shipment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
-Production Line Operations: Train in and assist with various areas of the production process to keep materials moving efficiently.
-Cutting: Measure and cut protective sleeves to specific lengths according to production requirements.
-Filling: Operate an auger system to fill protective sleeves with mulch while maintaining consistent product quality.
-Packaging: Pack completed products and prepare them for palletizing and shipment.
-Palletizing & Staging: Stack finished products onto pallets and move completed orders to designated staging areas for shipment.


In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, follow established safety procedures, and assist team members wherever needed to keep production running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced production environment
  • Must be coachable and willing to learn
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to remain active and on your feet for extended periods
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must wear closed-toed shoes; steel-toe shoes are not required
  • PPE is available and will be provided upon request

-Coachability: Willingness to learn new processes and take direction from experienced team members.
-Production: Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Closed-toed shoes are required. Steel-toe shoes are not required. All necessary PPE is available and will be provided upon request.
