Full-Time Warehouse Associate Starting $15.00 & Up

The Warehouse Associate is the key in assisting the Management team to meet that goal.

Location: Itasca, IL

Shifts: Shifts Available: 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm   2nd Tuesday – Saturday 12:30pm – 8:00pm.

 Position Description:

  • Ensure that our customers receive their furniture in perfect working condition
  • Unpack trailer merchandise and store merchandise
  • Assist with scanning as needed
  • Prep daily pick-up merchandise and next days deliveries
  • Assist with staging furniture for customers
  • Assist Warehouse Leader with Quality Assurance
  • Perform Stain safe applications
  • Pull merchandise from stock and stage it for delivery
  • Partner with HFC (inside sales) to resolve delivery issues

The Ideal Candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be willing to submit to physical capability test (also known as a Strength Test)
  • Pass a drug and background screening
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Follow safety guidelines
