Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Coil Embolization. R & LHC, Primary PCI, Vascular/Peripheral Angios, EP Studies, PPM Implants, Ablations, IABP, SWAN-GANZ, Coronary Lithotripsy, Coronary Microvascular Disease diagnostics, Biopsies (tissue/bone/fluid), Paras/Thoras, Port Placements, GJ Tubes, Nephrostomy tubes.

Preferred Skills/Experience: IR and EP experience preferred. Shockwave, CMD, Peripherals preferred. Venous Access, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring, PEs, Biopsies preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Uses MacLab/CardioLab.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required: 5-7 call shifts per month. Every other weekend as needed. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Float to cover IR and EP as needed.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
