Job description

At FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, Central Maryland Mobile Center, we are driven by our passion for using the most advanced technologies to help our patients recover quickly and return to their active lives. Our Mobile Center specializes in rehabilitation services that leverage the latest advancements in Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT) and other cutting-edge treatment options. We aim to shorten recovery times, enabling athletes and active individuals to return to the activities they love most.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist who shares our commitment to using cutting-edge technology to improve patient outcomes. In this role, you will focus on administering Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT) to help athletes and active individuals recover from injury faster, reduce pain, and get back to the activities they enjoy. You’ll work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about innovative care and advancing the field of physical therapy.

Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Administer Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT) to help reduce recovery times and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Educate patients on their injuries and treatments, empowering them to maintain their recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Maintain accurate records and document patient progress to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Required SkillsPhysical Therapist Skills, Education, Licensure:
  • Accredited PT program graduate 
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent experience.
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification – Required.
  • Experience with Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT) is preferred (training will be provided if needed).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping patients get back to being active.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with athletes, orthopedic injuries, or in a sports medicine setting.
  • Familiarity with other advanced rehabilitation technologies (e.g., laser therapy, dry needling, etc.).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
