Job description

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain piping systems in shipyard and/or industrial environments. This role requires the ability to read drawings, work safely, and perform precise pipe installations to meet project and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, fit, and assemble piping systems according to blueprints, isometrics, and specifications

  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand tools, power tools, and machinery

  • Install valves, flanges, fittings, hangers, and supports

  • Align and secure piping systems for proper operation and testing

  • Perform pipe layout and fit-up prior to welding

  • Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and inspection of piping systems

  • Repair, modify, or replace existing piping as needed

  • Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in industrial or shipyard environments

  • Follow all safety procedures, jobsite rules, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter (shipyard, marine, or industrial preferred)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings

  • Strong knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and installation techniques

  • Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments

  • Must meet project-specific drug screen and background check requirements
