Auction Pickup & Shipping Team MemberThe Big Picture

Do you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day?

Caring Transitions of Ellicott City is looking for reliable Transition Pros to help with our auction pickup days and shipping operations. You’ll help customers collect their auction winnings, organize and move items, and carefully pack items that need to be shipped.

This is a hands-on position that is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and handling a variety of unique items.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Pickup Pro: Help customers locate and safely load their auction winnings during pickup events.
  • Moving & Loading: Safely move boxes, furniture, and other auction items from the pickup area to customers' vehicles.
  • Item Organizer: Help organize auction items by customer/order so pickups run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Shipping Specialist: Carefully pack auction items for shipment, making sure fragile and valuable items are properly protected.
  • Order Organizer: Match items with customer orders and shipping information to help prevent mistakes.
  • Customer Helper: Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers during pickup and answer basic questions about their orders.
  • Keep It Moving: Help keep the pickup and shipping areas organized, clean, and safe throughout the day.
