Responsibilities

Peraton is searching for a talented Procurement Support Admin to become part of Peraton's Procurement Organization. This position will be in Herndon, VA.

What you'll do:

The Procurement Support Admin will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for receiving, storing, and/or facilitating shipping of materials and any other related shipping and receiving activities.
  • Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct.
  • Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
  • Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.
  • Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
  • Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED certificate and 1 year of experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Knowledge & experience working in Microsoft network environment
  • Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior warehouse experience (preferred)

Target Salary Range$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
