Job description

Job Description Northern Staffing Services, in partnership with Temprel Inc. of Boyne City, are excited to bring you the following new opportunity. Read below for more information: As a Shipping Coordinator at Temprel, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant shipment of products in accordance with ISO standards.

This role is essential to ensuring the timely delivery of goods to company customers while maintaining the quality and integrity of products throughout the shipping process. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1. Shipment Preparation: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation in adherence to ISO standards.

2. Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality and ISO standards before shipping. 3.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and track shipments to prevent shortages or excesses. 4. Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, export paperwork, and customs declarations, in compliance with ISO requirements.

5. Supplier and Carrier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule shipments, track orders, and ensure timely delivery. 6.

ISO Compliance: Ensure that all shipping and logistics processes align with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001 for Quality Management. 7. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safe transport of products.

8. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve shipping issues, delays, and discrepancies to maintain a smooth logistics operation. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management. Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, is highly desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in using shipping software and tools.

Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to shipping. This is a full time, Monday - Thursday (4, 10 hour shifts *subject to change) positon. Rate of pay ranges from $17.00 - $20.00 based on experience
