Job description

AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor who will Oversee all shipping, receiving, and logistics operations at the Northern Virginia warehouse facility, ensuring IT equipment is assembled, tested, imaged, and configured prior to shipment in accordance with CA, Diplomatic Security, and 14 FAM standards. Plans shipment scheduling to ensure equipment arrives at overseas posts and other locations at least two weeks in advance of scheduled installation dates. Directs receipt and inspection activities including review of bills of lading and packing lists, documenting discrepancies in the Non-Conformance Log and reporting findings to applicable GTMs, with corrections completed at no cost to the Government.

Generates Shipping Exception Reports within three business days of identified shipping discrepancies, providing reports to the AAS COR and applicable GTMs, and submits copies of receipt documents monthly to the AAS COR. Coordinates courier and transportation services for domestic and overseas shipments including logistics support to and from DOS facilities within the NCR. Coordinates with the DOS pouch facility for all foreign location shipments and utilizes ILMS to dispatch and track all unclassified and classified pouch shipments.

Coordinates with CST to prepare and review inventory prior to shipment, ensures back-order hardware ships within ten business days of receipt, and maintains returned equipment in a secure area pending Government inspection prior to decommissioning. Maintains accurate records of equipment accountability and transfer of responsibility to receiving posts upon delivery Desired Certifications: Class I - Electric Motor Rider Trucks - OSHA Class I Powered Industrial Truck Operator Powered by large industrial batteries; quiet, used indoors. Common in warehouses, food storage, and clean environments.

Certification covers battery operation, stability, and indoor safety OSHA Education Center. Class II - Electric Motor Narrow-Aisle Trucks - OSHA Class II Powered Industrial Truck Operator Includes reach trucks and order pickers; small frames, tight turns. Used in high-rack warehouses and narrow aisles.

Certification focuses on narrow-space maneuvering and high-lift safety. Experience and Skills Supervised daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments while meeting productivity goals. Led, trained, and scheduled shipping and receiving staff, fostering a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.

Verified shipping documentation, bills of lading, and inventory records to maintain accuracy and compliance with company procedures. Coordinated with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues, improve delivery performance, and minimize delays. Monitored inventory movement, conducted cycle counts, and implemented process improvements that increased accuracy and reduced shipping errors.

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree - 6 or more years of relevant education/work experience. OR Master of Arts/Master of Science with 4+ years of experience. Physical Requirements Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds . Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures. Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.

Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations. Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment. Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.

Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task. Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks)
