Job description

Warehouse Fulfillment & Shipping Specialist

This is a full time position from Congers New York, Monday through Friday. Hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound Receiving & Unloading
  • Unload inbound deliveries using forklifts, reach trucks, electric and manual pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Safely handle products of varying shapes, sizes, and weights, including oversized or irregularly packaged items
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips

Inbound Auditing
  • Conduct detailed inbound audits to confirm item counts, SKUs, and product condition upon arrival
  • Identify and document discrepancies between received and expected quantities
  • Escalate vendor shortages, overages, and mislabeled product to the appropriate team

Cycle Counting
  • Create and finalize manual and automatic inventory counts
  • Double count any inventory discrepancies
  • Provide solutions to inventory questions and/or issues
  • Review inventory counts daily with the Inventory Control Lead

Inventory Adjustments & Bin Management
  • Process inventory adjustments in NetSuite with proper documentation and justification
  • Utilize NetSuite reports to replenish picking locations from bulk stock daily
  • Oversee all bin transfers and work with the Inventory Control Team to ensure accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner

Quality Inspection
  • Inspect inbound product for damage, defects, and compliance with quality standards
  • Quarantine and document non-conforming product per standard operating procedures
  • Partner with quality and procurement teams on vendor return or dispute processes

Key Performance Indicators
  • Inventory accuracy per day and per week
  • Benchmark: 98%
  • Items counted per day and per week
  • Benchmark: 60/day | 300/week

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in an inventory or warehouse setting
  • Forklift Experience/Certification required
  • Experience unloading mixed freight including irregularly shaped and varied-weight product
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
