Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler II (2nd Shift Assembly). The hourly rate for this position is $21.07 + 5% shift differential per hour.
CORE HOURS: 2:30PM - 10:30PM

What you'll do:
The Material Handler II is responsible for the handling and movement of material within the plant. Additionally, this role provides support to other material handlers, maintains documentation related to material handling, and maintains communication with Supply Chain to ensure all issues are resolved.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton Quality standards and system
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Deliver materials safely and efficiently to various locations using a daily checklist
• Unload trucks and check freight bills (shipping & receiving)
• Return materials back to stock and maintain all related documentation
• Work alongside other teams across the organization
• Provide back-up support to other material handlers
• Train employees new to the Material Handler II role
• Locate material as needed by other material handlers, customers, or supervisors
• Record transactions using established procedures and use the Kanban system to check availability of parts
• Notify material department of any material-related issues
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution is required
• Must not be on a written or a final written warning
• Employee must complete at least 6 months in their current role before becoming eligible to apply for another position including same role on a different shift. Exceptions may be made based on business need.
• Computer Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Computer Skills; AS400; Mapex , Infor
• 6-month previous standup reach forklift operating experience
