Job description

Full-Time 1st Shift Material Handler

Secure Work Environment – NO LAYOFFS

We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time 1st Shift Material Handler who has experience storing, stocking, loading trucks, and moving materials in a warehouse/shipping environment. This position does not operate a forklift.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Peak days (4-5 days/month) start at 4:30am

Responsibilities

Move inventory materials to and from the various locations to support shipping/distribution. Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies. Keep all areas behind the lines and in pack area clean and free of hazards. Load customers' orders on correct pallets and on trailers on the dock. This position does not operate a forklift.

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
  • Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
  • Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
  • Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
