SUMMARY: The Shipping & Receiving Dock Worker is a critical role in the manufacturing logistics team, responsible for managing the efficient and accurate movement of finished products from the manufacturing facility to customers. This position ensures timely delivery, maintains shipping documentation, and coordinates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to optimize the shipping process.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

· Load and secure outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.

· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

· Verify packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping documents.

· Accurately record received items and maintain inventory organization.

· Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, wrapping, and staging.

· Maintain a clean, organized dock and warehouse area.

· Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.

· Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.

· All other duties as requested.


QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience a plus.

· Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

· Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

· Basic computer skills for inventory and tracking systems.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
