Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for a company that services and supplies data centers. This role is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, storing, and staging critical equipment and materials, including servers, racks, electrical components, cabling, and infrastructure equipment. The ideal candidate has experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is committed to maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Stage and prepare orders for shipment to customer sites and data center locations.
  • Move and store inventory in designated warehouse locations while maintaining organization and accessibility.
  • Utilize RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software to track products and inventory movements.
  • Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits.
  • Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Ensure all products are handled carefully to prevent damage to sensitive data center equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow company procedures, OSHA regulations, and all warehouse safety standards.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging, labeling, palletizing, and shipping preparation.
Essential Skills
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Proficiency in using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software.
