Shipping Manager
Locations: Houston (IB3)

Job Classification: Exempt   
Summary
Managed end-to-end shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, overseeing domestic and international logistics, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and team performance. Coordinated cross-functional departments to ensure on-time deliveries, optimized shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, and maintained accurate documentation using SAP and warehouse management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations, carrier operations, freight coordination, and international shipping procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and customer service departments.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse shipping procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to analyze shipping metrics and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Experience handling sensitive electronic components and ensuring proper packaging standards is preferred.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory management systems, SAP software, and shipping documentation.
