 Job Purpose                                                                                                                                                                                       

The Shipper or Receiver will perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move Calstone product and shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.

Manage verification, acceptance, counting, and paperwork of all incoming and outgoing goods and their condition.

 Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                                                                                            

  • Ship or receive all parts, product and materials as
  • Update status of inbound and outbound orders and submit
  • Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods and weighing
  • Report discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight,
  • quality, and quantity,
  • Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment, materials and
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area and cleaning of
  • Operate a forklift truck hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods in a safe and organized manner.
  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks or shelves, or in bins, according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, colour or product code.
  • Mark materials with identifying information (label).
  • Perform general duties and assist production team as
  • Complete daily safety check log for material handling
  • Report on issues, malfunctions or defects to Logistics
  • Reports any observed or potential hazards
  • Wear the proper PPE where required
  • Helps with other functional areas/departments as the need arises or as
  • Follow Calstone Policies and Procedures.
